A youth, Comrade Ephraim Jatau, has commemorated Governor Abdullahi Sule’s 65th birthday by visiting three medical facilities in Garaku, headquarters of Kokona local government area and assisting 36 patients with N4, 000 each while also praying for their recovery.
Comrade Jatau took out time to visit three medical facilities – General Hospital Garaku, Primary Health Care Clinic, Garaku, and a private facility, Mak-Lin Maternity Clinic, Garaku, on Thursday.
In his opening remarks at the Mak-Lin Maternity Garaku, Comrade Jatau, a staff of the Primary Healthcare Care Clinic, Garaku, said he chose to celebrate the milestone reached by Governor Sule on his 65th birthday by visiting the health facilities, assisting the patients with some cash token, as well as praying for their quick recovery.
He said he was inspired to assist the patients by the humility and sterling leadership qualities of Governor Sule.
“Today marks a milestone and historic birthday of our father, leader and governor. A legend, an icon, a pathfinder and most significantly a leader par excellence.
“In view of the above and In spirit of solidarity, love and support in honour of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule. I am using the occasion of his 65 Birthday to visit General Hospital, Primary Health Care Clinic 1 and Mak-Lin Maternity Clinic in Garaku Kokona local government, Nasarawa state, to give little succour to patients on admission,” he said.
Receiving Comrade Jatau at the Mak-Lin Maternity Clinic, Garaku, the managing director of the facility, Danladi Jibrin, commended the youth for choosing to celebrate the governor’s 65th birthday in a special way by paying visits to health facilities and assisting the less privileged in the society.
“You can see that the qualities of the governor are inspiring the youth to take positive steps towards developing their communities. The young man could have elected to spend his resources visiting any relaxation spot of his choice but look at him here assisting patients,” he said.
