Global leadership expert and international president of Toastmasters, Mr. George Yen, is expected in Nigeria this week.
Governor, District 94 which covers the whole of West Africa, Dr Mike Omotosho, said the visit was significant as it would afford members to tap into the leadership expertise of Yen.
Omotosho added that the visit also represented the growing stature of Nigeria in the global leadership sphere, stressing that Yen would interact with policy makers, opinion moulders and government officials on how to mentor the younger generation for leadership positions.
On what Toastmasters represented, the governor said it was a non-profit educational organisation that “teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.”
