Yari condoles with Kaura Namoda emirate over district head’s death

Following the demise of the senior district of Kaurà Namoda Emirate, Dr. Umar Garba (Sarkin Sudan) last Thursday, the Zamfara state Governor, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari has condoled with Kaura-Namoda emirate.
Speaking at the residence of the deceased in Kaura-Namoda, Governor Yari said the death of Sarki Sudan was a great loss not only to state government, Kaura Namoda Emirate and his family but also to Nigeria in general.
He described late Sarkin Sudan as a statesman, humble, kind and well respected leader who sacrifices his life towards development of Kaura Namoda Emirate, Zamfara state, Nigeria as well as propagation of Islam and peaceful coexistence “Indeed, Late Dr.
Umar Garba spent all his life time as a good citizen, serving humanity and also a good father who accepted everyone as his son,” the governor said.
“On behalf of the state government and the entire people of the state.
I am extending our condolences to the Kaura-Namoda emirate, families of the deceased and the entire people of the state over this great loss,” he contended He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased with Jannatil Firdausi and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Yari urged the families of the deceased to emulate the good qualities of life of the deceased and continue praying for him.
Responding on behalf of the family, one of the deceased children, Bilyaminu Umar commended the governor for the condolence visit.
According to him, his father died as a result of a brief illness at the age of 81 and he left behind three wives and 26 children.
Late Dr Umar Garba also served as the Sarkin-Sudan of Kaura-Namoda for over 60 years
