YangaGames Technologies Limited, operators of YangaGames, has denied operating illegally in Enugu following a recent clampdown by the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission, which led to the sealing of its hubs in the state.

Derrick David Kentebe, Executive Chairman of YangaGames, said the company holds valid licences issued by the commission and has resumed operations at all its hubs in Enugu State since July 31, 2025.

Kentebe described the commission’s action as an overreach, stressing that YangaGames, which operates across Nigeria, has always complied with regulatory requirements and will not deliberately violate any state’s rules.

He added that since beginning operations in 2018, the company has received commendations for promoting responsible gaming.

Kentebe reassured customers of YangaGames’ commitment to providing a safe and secure environment while maintaining integrity and ethical standards in all jurisdictions where it operates.
