“This is part of our focus of Rotary Club. As we join the world to celebrate International Widows Day, which was celebrated last Sunday, we are here to give something to the widows to help their family. This project is very dear to the heart of the club especially that it touches women particularly the widows.”
Also speaking a Rotary Club told the widows, “we want to encourage you that there is hope so don’t feel there is no hope. If you don’t rise up and do something, nobody will help you. This token is to help you start something so that it can grow with care. We are praying that next year you will not be part of it again it is people coming after you that would be part of it. You will now be giving other people”.

The widows thanked Rotary Club of Kaduna for the kind gesture towards them and their family. According to Zainab Mohammed, “we say a big thank you to Rotary Club for their annual assistance to widows and other people in need. We hope to use the money to start business and for those of us in to business already, we want to use the money to support our business. We hope others will join to ease financial burden on widows and orphans.”
