In recognition of the effort of Waansa Nigeria, a network of non-government organizations, working for peace and development in Nigeria, a youth organization for self-substance has appointed Waansa Nigeria adviser on peace and conflict as the coordinator of South west Nigeria.
The Youth organization for self-substance took this decision to consolidate partnership and advance the course of climate change Gender/Youth empowerment and sustainable development.
Waansa Nigeria Peace, conflict Adviser Ambassador Isdore Chukwuemeka in his acceptance speech reaffirmed his commitment to advocate more against the negative impact of climate change to the region and unite Nigeria towards peace.
He said Waansa Nigeria Has been proactive towards issues of our immediate environment and we will continue to mobilize Nigerians and the African region until we realize our sustainable development goals.
“Youth are the engine room of the development of any economy hence the award is dedicated to youth in Nigeria and Africa who struggle day and night to realize there potentials,” he said.
