VIDEO: Popular skit maker, Trinity Guy, speaks after arrest order

Renowned skit maker, Abdullahi Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy, has addressed the recent call for his arrest by police spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

In a video posted on his Facebook page on Thursday, Trinity Guy spoke out on the matter.

The Oyo state Police Command had earlier summoned Trinity Guy in relation to a prank video involving a minor.

However, Trinity Guy responded with gratitude in his latest video, thanking his followers and acknowledging Adejobi’s responsible approach in reining in pranksters who cross the line.

He said, “Good morning, everyone. I am Abdullahi, widely recognized as Trinity Guy. I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to all those who have reached out and shown concern regarding the misunderstandings surrounding my work and character.

“I also want to extend my gratitude to my fans worldwide, my colleagues, and the Nigeria Police, particularly my fatherly figure, Mr. Adejobi Olumuyiwa, for his guidance. He has drawn my attention to areas where improvement is needed and encouraged me to rectify them.”

“His dedication to protecting our nation is truly inspiring and deeply appreciated. Thank you, sir. May God bless you and all of us. Thank you, sir.”

Earlier this week, Adejobi had called for Trinity Guy’s arrest after issuing an initial advisory to skit makers, urging them to exercise caution in their pranks as they posed a risk to the public’s safety.
