In Islamic tradition, the passing of scholars (ulama) is widely regarded as a catastrophe, leaving an irreplaceable void that is cumbersome to fill. Dr Idris Abdul-aziz’s point of reference is always centred on either hadiths, or the quran. He had his shortcoming like any other person, Dr Idris devoted his whole life in the service of his creature, and the propagation of islamic education. He has built an integrated school from nursery to secondary school and a tertiary institution that awards National certificate in Education (NCE) not for profit making or selfish gain but to serve his people and his community most of the students are orphans and other few.
