Teachers, students should be trained against terrorist attacks – ANCOPSS

All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) has lamented the spate of insecurity in schools in the North-east and the country in general.
ANCOPSS President, Izuagie Anselm, who spoke at the 61st annual national congress in Akure, Ondo state, called for insurance policy to protect students, teachers and other personnel working in a school environment.
He noted that attack on school system was becoming vulnerable to attacks, stating that the action of the perpetrators, were aimed at weakening the society.
He also called for extension of the service years of teachers to 65 years of age and 40 years of service.
