Sustain lessons of Ramadan, FOMWAN urges Muslims 

 

The Federation of Muslim Women in Nigeria (FOMWAN) has urged Muslims to sustain the lessons of Ramadan as they conclude this year’s 30-day of Ramadan fasting.

FOMWAN in its Sallah message, congratulated the Muslim ummah  on the conclusion of 1445 Ramadan.

The statement which was signed by National Amirah of FOMWAN, Hajia Rafiah Idowu Sanni, described Ramadan as a month of blessings and spiritual rejuvenation when Muslims are stated the need for Muslims to sustain their commitment and dedication to serve God and humanity even after Ramadan fasting.

FOMWAN National Amirah expressed hope that the challenges facing Nigeria are surmountable with faith in God and change of attitude on the part of the leaders and the led.

She called on Nigerian leaders to always be responsible and responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the common man.

The Amirah also enjoined well-to-do individuals to always extend their benevolence to the needy and the less privileged in the spirit of Ramadan fasting which concludes today.
