Sunday Awuhe’s exemplary gesture

Humanity is God’s creation and anyone who does what this creation can benefit from, such should be applauded and encouraged so that others would emulate for more to be done.

The last time I visited Ajio Community in Benue state was in 2017. The road from Ajio to Yaji was a no go area since motorists and pedestrians devised other means of getting to Yaji from Ajio and those from Yaji were doing same when coming to Ajio for their businesses.

Ajio is a community under Ishagev-ya in Kwande local government area of Benue state and the people living there are known as the promoters of peace, love and unity but lack development in their area.

The condition of the road linking Ajio and Yaji before now was obviously pitiable and accidents possible if used. Because of that, it was deserted by motorists and everyone for safety.

In my recent visit to Ajio, I saw the road well constructed, motorists and everyone accessing the road, making it easier for people to transport their goods to Ajio market, Adikpo market and other neighbouring markets for economic growth.

Let me at this point appreciate Mr. Sunday Awuhe for single-handedly using his resources to ensure the construction of the road for his people without seeking any political gain in return.

Mr. Awuhe’s’s humanitarian services for the people of Ajio, Yaji, Koti and the entire people of Ishagev-ya plus Kwande by extension should be emulated by others with similar capacity so that, collectively, the needed development will be seen in place.
