Equity price on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange yesterday rebound, gaining N109 billion.
Specifically, Market Capitalisation of listed equities increased by 0.54 per cent to N20.360 trillion from N20.251 trillion reported the previous day.
The NSE All Share Index also appreciated by 209.71 basis point to 38914.84 points from 38706.13 points traded on Wednesday.
Investors exchanged 1.468 billion shares valued at N5.853 billion in 4040 deals against 177.396 million shares cost N2.676 billion in 4103 deals.
An analysis of the investment showed that Eterna PLC led gainers table during the day in percentage terms, appreciating by 9.98 per cent or N0.46 kobo to close at N6.08 kobo, Lasaco Insurance followed with a gain of 8.33 per cent or N0.10 kobo to close at N1.30 kobo, Zenith Bank gained 7.32 per cent or N1.50 kobo to close at N22.00, Guaranty Trust Bank increased by 6.43 per cent or N1.80 kobo to close at N29.80 kobo, Dangote Sugar Refinery Nigeria PLC added 6.25 per cent or N1.00 to close at N17.00.
On the contrary, Linkage Assurance recorded the highest loss for the day, dropping by 9.09 per cent or N0.05 kobo to close at N0.50 kobo, Wapic Insurance trailed with a loss of 9.09 per cent or N0.05 kobo to close at N0.50 kobo. ABC Transport fell by 6.67 per cent or N0.02 kobo to close at N0.28 kobo. Sterling Bank declined by 6.37 per cent or N0.10 kobo to close at N1.47 kobo, Honey Well Flour sheds 5.60 per cent or N0.07 kobo to close at N1.18 kobo.
