Stability hallmark of Nigeria’s democracy – Sani

The Chairman Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna state, Mr. Francis Sani has said stability is the hallmark of Nigeria’s democratic experience.

Mr Sani, who stated this recently in a message to mark Nigeria’s Democracy Day, also said the country had come a long way in its efforts to sustain what he described as the noble system of governance.

Speaking in Zonkwa, headquarters of the local government area, the chairman congratulated Nigerians for surviving many socio-economic and political challenges that threatened to disintegrate the country if not for the doggedness of its leaders.

He saluted the courage and unwavering resilience of Nigerians, especially, leaders at all tiers of government for their frantic efforts and purposeful leadership that had over time, given hope, particularly, to the common man.

Sani maintained that though the times were hard now, democracy was still the best option for any country that means well for its people and urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and continue to believe in the ideals of democracy.

The chairman congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state for their high level of commitment demonstrated in handling affairs of the nation and the state, respectively.
