The Edo state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has lauded his deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu, for his immense support in the course of “our drive for the development of our state in the last seven years.”
Obaseki also acknowledged the energy and vigour Shaibu had brought to bear as the administration embarked on the “onerous task of bringing transformational change and development to Edo state.”
The governor disclosed this in a congratulatory message he issued to celebrate the 54th birthday anniversary of the deputy governor.
“Alongside making these contributions to his administration, he has remained an exemplary husband, father, and a great family man,” he said via a statement.
“I congratulate my brother, the deputy governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, on his 54th birthday anniversary.
“I celebrate him today and wish him many more years in good health and sound mind. Congratulations
“And I thank him immensely for his support in the course of our drive for the development of our State in the last seven years.”
