The youth, who were drawn from the 9 local government areas that make up the senatorial district, are to undergo extensive training on solar energy technologies in a bid to create employment opportunity and make them self0reliant.

Speaking during the flag up of the training in Numan, Tuesday, Sen Binos, represented by his campaign Director General, Mr. Boniface Kadawan, said the gesture would go a long way in mitigating the rising insecurity and youth restiveness among his people.

He reiterated his commitment to keep on the good work by giving the people of Adamawa South effective and result-oriented representation at the National Assembly.

The senator further appealed to his constituents to take the training seriously by utilising the opportunity provided by the training so as to be useful to themselves, families and the society, nothing that he won’t disappoint them.

He further noted that, at the end of the training, participants would be able to design simple solar grids, install, maintain SPV technology and other renewable technologies and be able to trouble-shoot and repair solar street lights among others.
