Elegant Attire’s latest collection is called the Griffin Collection, and it is titled such because it is said to be made for Princes. The collection was unveiled at a private gathering the brand recently held at its showroom. The brand makes clothes for men and has been consistent with making clothes that are rich in culture and charisma for men. This collection seems to celebrate the Yoruba attire, which often consists of an Agbada, a shirt, a dress, and trousers.

Also, the Griffin Collection has Kaftans, Danshikis, Trousers, and Shorts made with fabrics such as Guinea brocade, Swiss Voile Lace, and Plain/Patterned Ankara. The Agbadas are made from Guinea Brocade and Swiss Voile Lace. Some of the Dashikis and Kaftans are made with Plain/Patterned Ankara and Guinea. The shorts are made from all the fabrics.

Esther Adeola’s creative skills came to the fore and were made quite evident in the type of embroideries on the Agbadas, bringing to fore her handcraftsmanship skills. The Kaftans had a few modifications that were different from the regular Kaftans, such as the shirts having two front pockets alongside the two side pockets and the trousers having only one back pocket and two side pockets. The waists of the trousers for the Agbadas, Kaftan, and Dashikis are held in place with drawstrings, while the shorts have adjustable elastic bands and a bandless waist for the men who want that. The Kaftan and Dashikis have slits on the side, with the Dashikis having longer slits due to the length of the garment itself and for easier access to the pockets. Evidently, Adeola reinforced her cultural sense of fashion into all the designs, ensuring that they were tailored to retain cultural elegance, and each exudes an urban touch.

Esther Adeola Olarinde, who is also the CEO of the brand, explained that her initial plan was to make an all-encompassing yet totally cultural collection. Still, she decided to start the collection in volumes, and she hopes to be able to release the second volume soon because she can’t wait to share the pieces from other cultures with everyone. Adeola praised her team for understanding her vision and working with her to turn her drafted patterns into such pieces, which everyone present at the launch seemed to love.

It is unclear when the next volume will be released, but the brand’s fans have the Griffin Collection to enjoy. The collection seems to be truly made for men who want to switch between being respectable princes at events or fun-loving men in their private moments or even for less fancy events. Summarily, there’s something for every event in the Griffin Collection.
