RCCG GO Adeboye storms Edo for light up crusade  

The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye will on Monday lead other preachers and Christian blocs on a two-day crusade to deepened the body of Christ through envagelism.

Pastor-in-Charge of Region 38 of the RCCG, Bode Olojede disclosed this to journalists in Benin City, in a joint press briefing with the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Edo state.

The CAN leadership was represented at the press briefing by its secretary and Rev. Phil Arojie,  director of youth, women and education development.

Olojede,  who stated that the crusade is tagged: ‘Light Up Edo’  called on all and sundry to attend the programme which is scheduled to hold at Garrick Memorial field.

He disclosed that Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye, the Intercontinental Evangelist of the RCCG; Pastor Margret Agbonifo, Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Edo state and the state chairman of CAN would also minister the words of God. 

According to Olojede, “the crusade is an interdenominational programme aimed at bringing the body of Christ and to make sure the light of Christ shines in the world over.

“It (programme) was conceived after the General Overseer of the Redeemed church clocked 80 years, because the church felt there was a need to win more souls for Christ through aggressive evangelism”, he stated.

Pastor Olojede added that free buses  have been made available at every parts of the State to convey everyone to and from the event, adding that adequate security have been put in place.
