The Katsina state government has confirmed that its governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda is stable and in good health after his vehicle was involved in an accident on Sunday July 20, 2025.
A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed said, “Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor road accident this evening along the Daura – Katsina Road, while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained.
“Governor Radda remains in high spirits and expresses his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.”
Katsina is the home state of former Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari who died few days ago.
Radda has been fully involved in his fidau prayer programme and other funeral activities.
