All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has asked the Muslim faithful to exercise their civic responsibly by voting massively during this year’s general elections.
The APC presidential candidate also reiterated his commitment to good governance if elected president.
Tinubu spoke as a special guest of honour at the just concluded 79th national Islamic vacation course of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), held in Ilorin, Kwara state capital.
He said the Tinubu/ Shettima campaign mantra of renewed hope is not a slogan but a declaration of a well-articulated plan for national rebirth.
Represented by the director, support groups coordination, (North Central),Tinubu/ Shettima presidential campaign council (PCC), Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin, Asiwaju urged the Muslim faithful to exercise their civic responsibly by voting massively during next year’s elections.
MSSN national president, Mallam Shehu Usman Abubakar, praised Tinubu for his leadership qualities , saying the former governor’s sterling performance in governance is a guide for all Muslims in public service.
The event was attended by Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, former Kano state governor, Mall Shekarau, Turakin Ilorin and APC senatorial candidate for Kwara central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, JAMB registrar and secretary, supreme council of Islamic Affairs, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede,, Mufti of Ilorin, Sheikh Farouk Onikijipa,
acting Grand Khadi of Kwara state, Abdullateef Kamalden,
