Police arrest 2 suspected cultists terrorising Anambra 

The Anambra state police command, Monday, said they have arrested two suspected cultists allegedly responsible for killings in Ihiala, Ihiala local government area.

Ihiala, which is bordered by Imo state, has been under constant attacks by hoodlums, some of which resulted to loss of several lives and properties, including setting parts of the LGA secretariat ablaze.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, who revealed the arrest of the suspects in a statement, gave their names as Mr Chitana Ọha, aged 25, and Mr Emmanuel Ifeanyi, 24.

Ikenga said they were nabbed at their hideouts in a special operation spearheaded by the Police Crack Squad deployed to Ihiala by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Aderemi Adeoye.

He said: “One Chitana Oha, male, 25 years, alias “Kill and Bury” was arrested. Also nabbed was one Emmanuel Ifeanyi Okonkwo, male, 24 yrs Alias “Good and Bad.”

 Both suspects were arrested at their hideout at Okija within the same local government area.
