The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Plateau state governorship candidate, Mr. Calib Mutfwang, has flayed the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) administration over the deteriorating insecurity in the state.
Mr. Mutfwang made the criticism, Wednesday, at a town hall meeting with religious, community and political groups in Jos North Local Government Area, held at Lamonde hotel.
“Plateau today is on its knees, Plateau today is the most backwards in Nigeria.
“I am promising you that if God make me Governor I have nothing personal in mind than to make Plateau better,” he said.
He said paying salaries is not an achievement, adding that workers are now been owed months of salaries.
Mr. Mutfwang said his lead administaration will place preference on youths development, through entrepreneural and skill acquisitions, for self reliance.
While responding to questions, he said if elected, h would run an all inclusive administration, devoid of ethnic consideration.
According to him, he would improve agriculture, by ensuring that irrigation system of farming will be encourage.
The PDP candidate said he would do everything possible to encourage commerce and petty trading, “…but the issue of Jos main market is just about politics.”
“We will recover Jos, we will not allow Jos to sink…, we will recall the new Jos Masterplan, that was introduced by Baba Jang,” he said.
Mutfwang assured that they would strengthen the local vigilantes to be able to protect the people.
