Peaceful conduct of conference excites Air Commodore Nkanga

A delegate from the South-south, Air Commodore Idongesit Nkanga (rtd) has expressed excitement at the peaceful manner the conference has proceeded despite the initial hard stance of many delegates.
Nkanga said in an interview with Blueprint that the peaceful discussions have melted the initial hard lines of some of the delegates.
He said it would be a win-win situation for the delegates in their various clamours to better the lot of the people, noting that nobody would go home from the conference disappointed.

He said the delegates would not also would have a 100 percent of their demands unless such demands affect the country as a whole.
He said the issue of resource control or ownership should be allowed to evolve through a general feeling of the delegates, adding that the ultimate thing is to restructure the country to give all citizens a sense of belonging.
