Paris Olympics qualifier 2024: Nnadozie, Ohale, 12 other players in Super Falcons camp

Ahead of Friday’s crucial 2024 Paris Olympics qualifiers against Banyana Banyana of South Africa, only 14 players are in Super Falcons camp as at Tuesday evening even as the Coach Randy Waldrum tutored side begins training in Abuja for the epic clash.

Tuesday training was a closed session to the public. The team is expected to train twice on Wednesday with more players expected to arrive on Tuesday night.

Blueprint Sport can report that the latest stars to hit the camp are goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Osinachi Ohale, Uchenna Kanu and Christy Ucheibe.

The players arrival was confirmed on the Super Falcons X handle on Tuesday.

The others players in camp are: Toni Payne, Deborah Abiodun, Gift Monday, Jennifer Echegini, Shukurat Oladapo, Chidinma Okeke and Linda Jiwuaku.

On Monday, Rasheedat Ajibade, Tochukwu Oluehi and Jumoke Alani were the early birds in camp.

Still being expected are Michelle Alozie, Halimatu Ayinde, Rinsola Babajide, Esther Okoronkwo, Ifeoma Onumonu, Asisat Oshoala and Chiwendu Ihezuo.

The first leg of the Paris 2024 final qualifier between the Falcons and South Africa comes up on Friday, 5 April inside the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The second leg will be played on Tuesday, 9 April in Pretoria.
