Oluwo declares suspected thug wanted, promises N50,000 compensation

The Oluwo of Iwoland in Osun state, Oba Abdurosheed Akanbi, has declared a suspected thug wanted with N50,000 bounty.

The monarch in a statement made available to Blueprint correspondent, Monday said anyone who can produce the suspect, Lateef Hassan, dead or alive, will be compensated with cash gifts of N50,000.

He alleged that the suspect has been causing public unrest and disorderliness in recent times, saying “Just today (Monday), he attacked and matcheted some people in Iwo for no reason. 

“Information at our disposal revealed he is known for accosting and attacking innocent and unsuspecting settlers of Iwo. 

“Criminals and criminalities of any form will not be condoned in Iwo and its environment. Anyone with such intention of thieving, attacking site workers and innocent citizens will not go scot-free,” Oluwo said.
