“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta state, I mourn the demise of a friend and brother, Comrade David Ofoeyeno, who, until his death, was the Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Delta state Council, Chairman, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE),” he said.
He further urged the Ofoeyeno family to see the death of their beloved patriarch as an act of God, urging the children of the deceased to emulate the exemplary life of their father and be consoled by the knowledge that their late father lived a worthy and very fulfilled life in the service of his family and Organised Labour in Delta state.
The Governor prayed God to grant Organised Labour and the Ofoeyeno family the fortitude to bear the loss and for God almighty to grant him eternal rest.
