Governor Seyi Makinde has approved July 12, 2024 for the coronation and presentation of staff of office to the new Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Owolabi Olakunlehin.
The date was announced in a statement made available to journalists by the Oyo state Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade.
According to the Commissioner, with the approval of the date for the coronation and presentation of staff of office to Oba Olakulehin, “our people must learn to be patient and believe an administration that has not let them down in 5 years.”
Prince Oyelade stressed that “insinuations and mischievous innuendos have not derailed Gov Seyi Makinde from the path of justice and fairness.”
The Commissioner for Information then advised the people of the state and Ibadan in particular to await the spectacle of the scheduled coronation.
