The Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) has felicitated with its President, Dr Daniel Igali, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
The Wrestling Federation, in a statement made available by the Secretary General, Mohammed H Maigidansanma, to our correspondent described Igali as a renowned personality whose selfless and patriotic leadership is worthy of emulation.
NWF noted that Igali is a living legend, whose contributions to nation-building, especially to Nigerian Sportsmen are commendable.
The Wrestling Federation applauded the outstanding leadership attributes of the World and Olympic champion in the rapid development of Wrestling in Nigeria.
NWF emphasised that Igali who doubles as Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Bayelsa state, has continually deployed his resources to advance the cause of athletes.
The NWF thanked the President for the positive energy, patriotism and the invaluable contributions he brings in manning a very important Federation, which is strategic in molding a better future for the country and harnessing the innate potentials and talent of Nigerians in sports.
The Federation joins members of the Igali family, friends and well-wishers in praying for good health and happiness for the celebrant.
