Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have announced the appointment of Nurudeen Aweroro as their new head coach, following the dismissal of Gbenga Ogunbote earlier this week by the club’s new management.
Aweroro joins the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side from Ikorodu City, where he impressed by guiding the team to a fourth-place finish in their debut NPFL season. He took over managerial duties midway through the campaign after the sacking of Bright Ozebagbe and quickly established a reputation for his tactical acumen and player development.
The young tactician has officially assumed duties at Shooting Stars, and his assistant coaches have already resumed work with the team as preparations intensify for the new season.
