He said it was “an endorsement of the future, of continuity, and of the reforms that are steadily repositioning our region and country for greatness”.
The high-level meeting, which brought together key leaders including governors, ministers, and lawmakers of the APC from the north-central zone, culminated in a resounding endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement personally signed by Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi and released through ENACT, Adeyemi praised governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state and Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), for successfully rallying the region’s political stakeholders around a common agenda, describing the outcome as “a powerful expression of unity and purposeful alignment for sustained national progress.”
“This endorsement is not just a political gesture—it is an endorsement of the future, of continuity, and of the reforms that are steadily repositioning our region and country for greatness”, he said.
Adeyemi, also lauded President Tinubu for his developmental strides across the north-central, citing advancements in infrastructure, agriculture, education, and power as evidence of the President’s commitment to inclusive governance under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“From road projects to rural electrification, from water infrastructure to strategic federal appointments, the North-Central has felt the impact of a presidency that listens and delivers,” he said.
He, particularly, highlighted President Tinubu’s transformative policies in the education and healthcare sectors, noting that the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), strengthened funding through TETFUND.
Other initiatives that strengthened funding through TETFUND was the integration of academic institutions into broader national agendas such as food security and clean energy deployment.
“The President is rethinking the role of education—not just as a tool for learning, but as a strategic driver of food security, innovation, and national resilience,” Engr. Adeyemi remarked.
“Coupled with reforms in healthcare, especially through expanded insurance coverage and investment in training institutions, this administration is laying a foundation that will benefit generations to come.”
The organisation pledged to intensify its advocacy and mobilization efforts across Kwara and the north-central zone to ensure continued alignment with national progress and democratic consolidation.
“We believe in a Nigeria that works for everyone, and we see in President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq the commitment and courage needed to make that happen,” the statement concluded.
