Nigeria Super Sand Eagles returned to international soccer since 2019 with a hard-fought 5-4 win against Mauritania in the first leg of the Nations Cup qualification match on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Nouakchott.
The SuperSand Eagles who returned to action after the ban on the team was lifted, has few days to prepare for the games with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) appointing Abdullahi Isa as New Head Coach on Thursday.
With the return leg scheduled for Saturday, July 27, in Nigeria, the Supersand Eagles are determined to secure their qualification.
The team’s performance in the first leg has raised hopes for a successful campaign in the 2024 Beach African Cup of Nations.
