The Ambassador of Nigeria to Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde, John James Usanga, has congratulated the president- elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and vice president- elect, Kashim Shettima, for emerging victorious at the 2023 presidential elections.
In a statement personally signed by the envoy weekend, the seasoned diplomat assured Nigerians that the election of Tinubu will further boost Nigerian standing as the economic power house of Africa and enhance its fortune in the global diplomatic community.
He said the president-elect has the capacity to make Nigeria one of the world’s greatest nations by bringing Nigerians together for needed socio-economic development.
He assured Nigerians that the Tinubu- led government would make Nigeria work for all irrespective of tribe, religion, region or political affiliations.
“Knowing Tinubu’s previous record in his years of public service, he has shown strategic leadership and built men and space.
“He will come up with strategies that will confront the challenges affecting the country and ensure that he continues to be the promoter of sustainable democracy, development and put the country first,” he said.
