Nigerians urged to embrace unity, peace

Founder and Convener Chikun/Kajuru Patriots Development Association (CKPDA), High Chief Christopher Columbus Geoman,   has called on citizens of the state to cultivate the culture of unity, peace and harmony to ensure dividends of democracy reaches them  as at when due.

He said this is the prayer of the CKPDA to ensure that the dream and aspirations are met.

He made the remark at the inauguration ceremony of CKPDA local government and ward executives and official opening of her office headquarters.

The N20 million community development fund and the mini developmental launching were held at Sabon Tasha in Chikun local government, Sunday.

Chief Geoman, while commending the state governor, Senator Uba Sani, for bringing transformative development to the state, urged citizens of the state seeking political positions to remain patriotic enough to serve if elected.

“Patriotism is a guiding principle every leader must have. Without patriotism as a guiding principle, no leader can truly serve,” he said.

He stated further, “CKPDA is not a support group for any political party, neither is it a support group for any candidate, it only seeks to bring the plight of the people to the ears of those who represent them.”
