The Otun Olubadan and former governor of Oyo state, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, said Tuesday that Nigeria needs a turnaround in the form of restructuring for the country to forge ahead.
Speaking as the chairman at the opening ceremony of the Oyo state Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), 2022 Press Week at Iyaganku, Ibadan, he said the country cannot go on as it is today.
High Chief Ladoja added that for Nigeria as a country to move forward and witness the much needed peace, growth and He added that as at present in Nigeria, there is no doubting the fact that it needs restructuring or whatever name we might call it.
“We have to get things right in this country. We need restructuring or whatever name we call it, we need it. We have to find a way of solving the big problems of Nigeria,” he said.
High Chief Ladoja added, “there is no doubt in the fact that we have problem in the country. We cannot continue in this form”.
He said to get things right in the country, there is need for every Nigerian, including those in the media, to be more committed, dig deep and put the country on the right channel, especially at this crucial period when the 2023 polls is fast approaching.
