NCPC opens bid for Pilgrims Heritage House construction

The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) formally opened bid for the expression of interest/prequalification for the construction of Pilgrims Heritage C House, Phase 1A in Abuja.

Speaking at the opening ceremonies in Abuja Monday, the director-in-charge of the Commission, Mrs. Esther Kwaghe, said due diligence would be taken into consideration in looking into the proposals submitted by the bidders.

She said “we want to have value for the money the government is investing in this project,” and thanked the representatives of various groups who attended the event for their confidence and trust in what the Commission would do.

According to her, “the Commission will be transparent and fair to all.”

She enjoined them to accept the final outcome of the selection exercise as only one company would emerge successfully.

Blueprint reports that the bid opening was attended by construction companies, observers from civil society organisations as well as officials of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) who supervised the exercise.

The NCPC Pilgrims Heritage C. House Phase 1 A, Abuja comprises basement parking, two-number ramps for access entry and exit, 70-number parking spaces, access to auditorium and other facilities.
