President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday held a closed-door meeting with the chairman of the federal government planned National Conference, Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi, vice chairman, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi and the secretary, Dr. Valerie Azinge.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.
The three key officials of the national conference declined to talk to journalists after the meeting.
The president left Abuja for Bayelsa state immediately after the meeting, and expected back in Abuja today.
Jonathan said he would inaugurate members of the conference on Monday, March 10, w2014, on his return from Anambra state where he would perform the groundbreaking ceremony of the 2nd Niger Bridge.
