Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule, Thursday, approved the appointment of Dr. Dominic Adagadzu Bako as Director General of the state’s Bureau for Public Procurement.
Sule made the announcement while kick-starting the monthly state Executive Council meeting, at the government house Lafia.
He expressed delight that the administration was able to fulfil its commitment to the public, particularly development partners, on establishing the bureau.
He said Bako emerged as a suitable candidate for the job after undergoing an interview process.
Bako was before his appointment, the Special Adviser to the governor on Budget and Planning.
He was a former Head of the state Civil Service, Permanent Secretary and Commissioner for Finance.
He contested for All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial ticket for Nasarawa north district in 2019.
