Nasarawa speaker, Omisore, others condole Buhari over Abba Kyari’s death

Speaker of Nasarawa state House of Assembly Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the former deputy governor of Osun state, Iyiola Omisore and the Peoples Democratic Party caucus in the Senate have condoled with President Mohammadu Buhari over the demise of his Chief of Staff Abba Kyari.

The Speaker in a statement by his Press Secretary Jibrin Gwamna also condoled with the immediate family of late Kyari and Nigerians over what he described as a painful and colossal loss.

“The demise of Abba Kyari is shocking,very painful especially with the circumstances we find ourselves as a nation, Kyari died a hero and may Allah forgive his short comings and grant him Aljanatul fir dausi.”

He prayed God to give the family and love ones the fortitude to bear the huge loss noting that he has contributed his quarter to the national development.

The Speaker enjoined Nigerians not to undermine the Covid 19 but adhere strictly to all government orders and advice of experts regarding the dreaded disease and continued to pray fervently for God’s intervention.

In his own, former deputy governor of Osun state, Senator Iyiola Omisore commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari on the death of his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari.

Senator Omisore in a message issued by his Media Team made available to journalists also condoled with the Federal Government , the Federal Executive Counci, (FEC) and the family of the late Chief of Staff to President Buhari.

The former Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation in the statemen described the death of Mallam Kyari as sad, unfortunate, shocking and difficult to believe.

“I received the news of the death of Mallam Abba Kyari with shock and suprise. The death of Mallam Kyari at this time, no doubt is sad,unfortunate and a big loss not only to President Buhari, the FEC and the entire Nigerian. It is my prayers that Allah will give the President the fortitude to bear the great loss”, he said.

Senator Omisore stressed that the death of Mallam Kyari at this crucial period, when Nigeria and the entire World are facing the challenges arising from the spread of COVID -19 will create a big vacuum considering late Mallam Kyari’s administrative wealth of exprience among others.

“It is my prayers that may Allah rest the soul of Mallam Abba Kyari and grant his Aljana Fiyau. Once again, I commiserated with the President ,the FEC, his immediate family , friends and associate on the death of this great Nigerian.”

Also, the People’s Democratic Party Caucus in the Senate on Saturday mourn the passing on of the Chief of Staff to President Mohammadu Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari, saying it was shocked with the news of his death.

In a statement released in Abuja, by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, the caucus expressed it’s condolences to the President, the presidency, the federal government and the family of the deceased.

Senator Abaribe said the death of Mallam Kyari who’s pragmatism was shown when he announced to a bewildered nation, that he tested positive to the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic, has robbed Nigeria of his rich experience in governance.

The caucus he added is saddened with the fact that late Chief of staff will die at a time the President and the government needed his services and wise counsel the more, particularly now that the country is grappling with the negatives of the global pandemic.

“We in the Senate Minority caucus condole with President Buhari, the Federal Government and the family of Mallam Kyari and pray that the Lord receive his soul and Grant him eternal rest”, Abaribe said.
