Nasarawa South: Eggon youths endorse Adokwe

The Eggon Youth Forum in the southern senatorial zone of Nasarawa state has called on Senator Suleiman Adokwe to re-contest the senatorial election come 2019 general election.
Chairman of the forum, Mr.
Christopher Abimiku, made the call yesterday while addressing thousands of Eggon youths and women at the Lafia local government PDP secretariat.
He said the endorsement of the lawmaker would augur well for the people of the zone, describing him as a visionary and focused leader whose contributions would not be forgotten in a hurry.
“Senator Suleiman Adokwe has done a lot throughout his period at the red chamber of the National Assembly and there is need for him to answer our call to continue to give us a purposeful representation,” he said.
Abimiku maintained that the Eggon youths and women in the zone would do everything humanly possible to actualise Adokwe’s dream come 2019.
He urged the youths and other nationalities in the senatorial zone to support the lawmaker to enable him continue as according to him, “we have no better candidate than Adokwe who has maintained his status as a grassroots politician, always in touch with his people.” On his part, Adokwe expressed with joy with the support accorded him and assured that he would not relent in ensuring that his people receive the dividends of democracy.
He commended Eggon youths and other tribes for being at the forefront in the promotion of democracy in the state, urging them to sustain it.
