Miyetti Allah inaugurates Niger executive

Fulani socio-cultural association, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has inaugurated its executive council members for Niger state.
It called on members to give the fulani the attention it deserves while carrying out their assignment.
Speaking after a consultation meeting and the inauguration ceremony in Niger state at the weekend, the zonal Chairman, north central, Alhaji Gidado Idris Bebeji, thanked all the fulanis and contestant of the election that produce Ardo Dikko Shakallo as the new Niger state chairman of the association.
He said: “The occasion was a great one.
It witnessed the presence of thousands of fulani men and women across the country.
They all came out to elect their new chairman because Shakallo was their choice and he is very popular.
That is why they decided to vote him in.
“Also, the other six contestants were happy about the election and they all came out to extend their support to the new chairman.” Bebeji called on the new executive members to be dedicated and take the affairs of fulanis at heart and ensure peace reigns supreme between farmers and others in the state.
He commended the national president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo for giving them a level playing ground for the election and also wish him well for his leadership style, praying that Allah will give him long life to enable him continue with his good work.
Our correspondent reports that those who graced the occasion include the Commissioner of Police, Niger state command, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), other fulani associations, Ardos, Fulani leaders, the association of chairmen from Nasarawa, Plateau, Bauchi, Taraba and the FCT.
Meanwhile, the Zonal chairman called on MACBAN to continue to join hands with Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore to move the fulanis forward.
