Newspaper readers in Taraba  state  Sunday hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating the publisher of Blueprint Newspaper and owner of WE FM, Alhaji Idris Mohammed Malagi, to serve in his cabinet as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Some readers of the newspaper who spoke to our correspondent in Jalingo expressed confidence that Malagi’s wealth of experience would contribute meaningfully towards the quest of President Tinubu’s administration to build a better Nigeria.

A staunch reader of the paper in Jalingo, Mr. Murtala Ibi, said Malagi is a good veteran in the journey of nation-building.

He added that the country needed an experienced torch-bearer like Malagi who is coming from the private sector to contribute to President Tinubu’s government and unlock the doors of security and prosperity.

He added that his experience as a publisher from the private sector where he transformed “Blueprint Newspaper to one of the leading newspapers in Nigeria and Africa places him in the best position to help achieve President Tinubu’s development mantra.”

Also, a vendor in Taraba state, Samuel Titus, said Malagi as a publisher, public relations professional, and politician has used his private business to assist a good number of Nigerians irrespective of religion,  tribe and political affliction.

Malagi, before his nomination by President Tinubu for ministerial appointment was an aspirant in the just concluded 2023 governorship election in Niger state on the platform of  the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
