The former Zamfara state governor Abdulaziz Yari also the chairman campaign council for 2023 polls has shade tears over the large turnout of APC supporters in Anka town headquarters of Anka local government area of Zamfara state.
In his remarks, Abdulaziz Yari expressed appreciation over the support shown by the APC supporters in Anka.
Yari further admitted that the lingering insecurity as a result of the activities of armed bandits started during his leadership, stressing that if Matawalle was given the mandate for second term, he would double his efforts to ensure restoration of peace across the state.
Abdulaziz Yari called on APC supporters to vote for governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle with a view to enabling him provide more dividends of democracy to the citizens and reinvigorate the state’s economy.
The ex governor who is also contesting to represent Zamfara West senatorial zone in the upcoming election, pledged to go to every nook and cranny of his zone to conduct his electioneering campaign and that of governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle for APC’s victory.
Also speaking, Governor Matawalle expressed satisfaction with the unflinching support and turnout of APC supporters during the campaign and promised to to develop the state if given the mandate for the second term.
