And LVG is also planning a £25million January swoop for Saido Berahino.
The United boss confirmed publicly for the first time he wants Ronaldo back at Old Trafford, six years after he left for Real Madrid.
LVG said: “We are looking at all players, not just Ronaldo. But these players are mostly ungettable.
“With Ronaldo, let’s wait and hope. There is no trainer in the world that doesn’t like him.”
