Ademola Lookman missed training on Saturday as the Super Eagles commenced preparation for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday six encounter against the Amavubi of Rwanda.
This was disclosed by the Super Eagles media officer, Promise Efoghe on Saturday, 16th of November.
According to him, he picked up a knock in the team’s 1-1 draw against Benin Republic on Thursday.
Lookman was replaced by Frank Onyeka late in the game.
His condition for the clash with the Amavubi will be ascertained during the Super Eagles’ final training session on Sunday.
Similarly, Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has already been ruled out and released from camp after picking up a knock against Benin Republic.
Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was also allowed to leave camp following the death of his father.
