Letter to Bauchi youth

Dear vibrant, loving and concerned Bauchi youths, it has become absolutely necessary and imperative to write you this letter. I am as concerned as you all are about the current situation in the country, regarding economic and security challenges. I am one of the Nigerian students whose studies have been harmed by several industrial actions since 2018; I have been negatively affected and so, suffer the effects seriously.

I am a man who thinks with my head before I talk with my mouth, to avoid making wrong postulations and conclusions. I am also a man who makes use of my education to analyse current issues and situations to be able to know and figure out why things are the way they are. In other words, I am one who is not given to making spontaneous conclusions about problems without looking beyond the problems to know the causes.

These days, some Bauchi youths are using social media to promote indiscipline. We must use social media to focus on politics, policies, analysis of situations, etc. We must do our best to stop ruining our names and our future.
Remember that our voices reflect the voice of the society and future leaders. We the youth must know how to figure out our pains and have a way of calling the attention of the government on our demands.

The elections will come and go, some politicians will be elected while others will be defeated they will leave us with our social media friends whom we fight for them between ourselves.

To all youths in Bauchi state, let elections not be a do-or-die affair. So, ensure that you accommodate one another even in times of differences. Let the transition process be a veritable platform to promote unity and mutual co-existence, let’s accommodate our social media friends before and after the elections.
