Kwankwaso dazzles Pillars with cars, cash gifts

Kano state Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has fulfilled his promise made to 25 players and 3 technical crew of the Pillars FC by presenting them brand new Toyota Corolla cars for wining last season’s Glo-Premier League.
It was in appreciation of his administration to the success of the club for winning the diadem back to back.
He urged them to be focused in the on-going season in order to retain the cup at the end of the season and assured them state government’s continued support at all times.

Governor Kwankwaso also presented the certificates of occupancy of the two houses donated by his administration to the two indigenes of the state who were part of the U-17 national team that won the FIFA World Cup in Dubai. They are Zaharadeen Bello and Musa Mohammed.
The sports loving governor also presented a cheque for N.7m each to 10 players and three members of the technical crew each who did not benefit from the car gifts.

He further donated substantial cash donations running into millions of naira and sport kits to over 1, 300 football teams across 44 local government areas in bid to reduce the hardship that the managements of the teams for the running of their affairs.
Athletes that represented the state in various competitions in and outside the country and won laurels to the state were also rewarded with cash donations at the occasion.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the state information commissioner, Dr. Danburan Nuhu Abubakar, commended Governor Kwankwaso for the gestures and urged the beneficiaries to feel challenged and up their gamesin future competitions.
