Kukwaba not habitable for even animals – Village head

 

Worried by the deplorable state of infrastructure in Kukwaba village in Bwari area council, the community’s spokesperson, Shaibu Auta, has said that the place was not even conducive for animal to live in, let alone human beings.
Auta told Blueprint that the village which had been in existence when the people where relocated from Abuja city centre cannot boost of any social amenities provided by either the area council or FCT administration.
He said: “See the place even animal cannot stay here, since government moved us from the town to this place for over 25 years now, nothing to show.
“We are living here as frog because government don’t care about us despite our complaints to both the area council and FCT administration, and they are aware of this place.”
He appealed to the FCT Minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, to visit the community and ascertain the condition the residences are in, and expedite action on possible ways that could alleviate their sufferings
