A social cultural organisation known as Kwararafa Unified Assembly has declared their total support for the re-election of Alhaji Yahaya Bello in November governorship election.
Speaking during a meeting with Chief Edward Onoja, the Chief of Staff to the governor Yahaya Bello on Sunday, national coordinator of the group, Hon. Aaron Mike Odeh, called on every sons and daughters of Kwararafa across Nigeria to give all their unflinching support to enable governor Yahaya Bello return back to government house.
He described Yahaya Bello as a special gift to the people of Kogi state and the entire descendants of Kwararafa people across Nigeria and the world.
Odeh advised those who are conspiring to remove Yahaya Bello to have a rethink and instead team up with him to continue with his achievements which he said cut across all sectors in the area of human and infrastructural development.
He appealed to the national leadership of the ruling APC and the Presidency to put aside inter party squabbles and give their support to enable Bello clinch the APC ticket for the second term.
Speaking after the national coordinator, Chief Edward Onoja thank the coordinator and his executive for creating time out to visit him and show solidarity.
He described their visit as very important and timely in view of the propaganda going on “from the mouth of some few insignificant and expired political jobbers who are bend on looting the meagre resources accrue to Kogi Stste appraised the prudent lifestyles of the Governor which has enable the State Government offset the back log of salaries left behind by the former adminstrations.”
He also give vivid account of the landmark achievements of the Governor and urged the executive member of Kwararafa Unified Assembly not to be tired of their support for Bello but, rather continue to build cordial relationship between all the descendants of Kwararafa across Nigeria.
He specifically appealed to some ethnic nationalities like Igala, Nupe, Idoma, Ibira, Ogra, Igara, Doma, Alago, Jukun, Ukep, Anang, Anioma, etc to rally round Yahaya Bello as their son.
