Kebbi state School of Nursing and Midwifery has been described as “one of the best schools of health sciences” in the country.
Director of the school, Comrade Abubakar Abdullahi Ka’oje, stated this yesterday in Birnin Kebbi in a chat with newsmen on the activities of the institution.
He said the Medical Council of Nigeria (MCN) recently accredited many courses and increased the annual number of student enrolment following “an outstanding performance.” Ka’oje added that the success story wouldn’t have been possible “without the support and corporation of both academic and non academic staff as well as students.” “You know here we don’t compromise standards whatsoever; whosoever is not qualified is not qualified.
We are shouldered with responsibility of handling human lives, so we don’t joke with that and our stand here is to produce only qualified personnel and give them out to health seekers,” he said
