The principal of Kaduna state Special Education School, Malam Musa Sa’eedu, has called on well meaning Nigerians to support the school and its students at all times.

Speaking at the  donation of essential commodities by the Rotary Club of Kaduna Metropolitan to the school, Saturday, Malam Sa’eedu, said lack of support from well- to-do members of the society and organisations have affected the growth of the special children to achieve their hope and aspiration.

“These children need the support of the public to achieve their dreams, but the negative attitude from the society has hindered them from achieving their goals,” he said.

While receiving the items which include drugs and other essential commodities, the principal thanked the Rotary Club of Kaduna Metropolitan for their concerns, and appealed to other clubs and organisations to emulate Rotary.

He stated that the club has in the past built a block of classrooms for the school, and the donation came at a time when the school is in dire need of the essential commodities.

Earlier, the president-elect of the club, Rotarian Temitayo Babatunde, said the gesture was to support the education of the less privileged children in the society, most especially, those who are physically challenged.

He said the core values of Rotary Club are to complement efforts of the government in areas of education, health and empowerment, adding that the club is known for the gesture all over the world.

“Our major aim at the Rotary is to see joy in the faces of the people we have reached out to,” he said.
