The Kaduna state House of Assembly has passed into law the sum of N53, 620,319,624 for the 23 local government area in the state.
The passage of the budget followed after the third reading of the bill by the speaker Alhaji Shehu Tahir at the state Assembly.
Blueprint report that the 2015 appropriation bill was presented to the law makers for approval in February this year.
The sum of, N53,226,885,141 was earlier presented by the 23 local governments and the sum of N53,620,319,624 was approved with increase.
After scrutinising the budget the lawmakers passed it with an increase of, N393, 434,483. Also 83 percent of the budget would be spend on the recurrent while 17 per cent would be for the capital project.
While reading the budget, the speaker Shehu Tahir, urged the council to spend the money according to the law of the state.
He also advised that the state government should take some measure with the view to reducing the recurrent expenditure, adding that the local government should use the existing law to improve on their internally generated revenue.
